Ikarias

A mosaic we saw in an antique store: the owner told me the story behind it and I was hooked. Apparently this is one scene from a traditional, but somewhat obscure Greek or Roman myth involving a loyal dog, his owner and the hazards of drink. Kind of an ancient MADD poster.
