Spiro, Oklahoma

One of the more interesting locations on the KCS mainline is this massive steel bridge over the Arkansas River near Spiro, Oklahoma. Despite having to skip many other locations to ensure we'd beat the train, this was a must-get angle for Mike Biehn, Nick Bolton, and myself as we chased the train south from Kansas City. After running around slower traffic, the beautiful F-Units parade across the bridge as they press on toward Heavener where they will spend the night before continuing on to Shreveport the next day.
