Medina, Ohio

After working an early morning helper assignment on the Fort Wayne Line, I was on my way home when Uncle Wak alerted me that two Wheeling trains were in the process of making a meet at New London. After driving slightly over the speed limit, we were soon greeted by this great looking quartet of painted Wheeling units in the lead of the 712 rock train out of Carey. In this photo, they are just past the station sign "Thompson" as they drop downgrade into Medina where a yard crew will meet them and take the train the rest of the way east to Akron.
