Registan - an entrance portal

One of the niches of the entrance portal to the Ulughbek madrassa, the oldest in the Registan, is beautifully decorated with a stucco ceiling, quotes from the Quran and geometrical designs in blue and gold. The details are best appreciated when the photo is at its largest size.
