A monk's cave - Drepung monastery

Some of the Tibetan Buddhist monks prefer to live in caves, as expression of austerity. There are several such caves just outside the walls of Drepung monastery. The entrance to this particular cave is decorated by a wall painting of a Buddhist mantra in Tibetan script.
