Lily's 1st anniversary 2025
Marking one year of Lily being in my life. She was less than a year old and pregnant when she picked me to be her person. To date she has not sat on my lap. Unfortunately one of our indoor cats has banned her from living inside with the family. Jealousy reared its head. So she continues to be an outdoor cat and generally enjoys it. I feed and house her and we spend time in the garden she inspects everything I do and verifies if it's good for a napping spot.
She brings me presents …ewww. I always say, "thank you".
She's still the rule maker and I am compliant. She rarely leaves the yard for any length of time and even allows my husband to give her a pet now and again. She's been a little bright spot in our lives for what seems like a minute and yet here we are one year later.

Quick FYI someone unknown to me trapped her and had her spayed before her litter was born last year.
