Backyard birding

Common birds often are overlooked unless there’s a really nice setting or good light. In this case it was both the light play on the bird of paradise leaves was attractive and it lit up the feather details and the eye.

It’s been so hot so early this spring backyard birding is appealing because a/c is so nearby :)
