Longtail Skipper

Skippers are winter migrants in Florida they look similar to butterflies but differ from them physically Skippers have bodies that are fat and furry like moths. The Longtail Skipper is my favorite because of the beautiful color combinations of browns and iridescent blue and that long tail. They don't stay still very long as they nectar and this is one of the better photos I was able to get this year. Hope you enjoy the view and Happy Monday!
