Burrowing Owl Perching (Explore)
This is one of the sibling burrowing owlets that surprised me when it flew into the tree I was sitting under for shade. Had to laugh because it was too close for the 500mm and I was sitting on a stool and had to respectfully creep backwards inch by inch in the sand with me the stool, tripod and camera in order not to harass him.
