Musee D'Orsay

Opened in 1986, the Musee D'Orsay fills a train station, saved from demolition to become Paris' museum devoted to the pivotal years 1848-1914. People come in droves to see the Impressionist and Post Impressionist art. The building is as much of a masterpiece as all the exhibits on show!
