On our way home, I decided to take an alternate path. Deep in depression from learning of today's departure of the Sandhill Cranes, I saw the distant swoop of a white tail. As I looked up more carefully, I saw what I thought was a white head. OMG, right in my neighborhood! I whipped the car around and stopped as quickly as I could. And there was the beauty, surveying her surroundings.
A most happy Friday. I hope I will see Friday a lot more!
