We Have Separation

I kept shooting as the Shuttle ascended.

I did not realize that I had captured the separation of the solid rocket boosters from the Shuttle.

This is about 2 minutes down from the launch and about 20 miles into the atmosphere.

Lots of grain but all I had was a 300mm lens.
