All That Remains...
I can't remember for the life of me what this used to be part of. I read it somewhere one time we were in Mendocino. It could be what is left of a dock for the sawmills that used to be here, or it could be the remains of a sawmill. Or, perhaps the remains of some other type of building from a later eta, a restaurant, dance hall or some other building lost to time and the tides. But, considering how the end of it juts out into space, and how the waves crash on this coastline, I can't help but wonder how much longer it will be around.
I think that the next time we go there I will have to visit the historical society to see what it was...I do love see what towns looked like in the past.
