Transcendentalism

This tree is in my front yard and I love the way the bark is chipping away to expose what's underneath. I also wanted to take the picture at this angle to get a different perspective of the tree instead of taking a picture directly in front of it. I think of this picture as a way to describe someone letting their true colors show and shaking away the things they don't want to show on the surface. The sun shining on the bark I found really beautiful and I wanted to make sure I captured it.
