A Surprise Experience

A leisurely walk in the Severn Valley Country Park. With no service trains scheduled that last thing I expected to hear was the shrill of a whistle echoing across the Severn Valley. What was a gentle stroll quickly turned into a march as we headed towards the railway line. We reached the foot crossing just in time for me to frame up a shot and press the shutter as the loco ambled past.

Such was the rush, I had forgotten that I had the OM10 set to manual exposure mode, with settings which I later discover were giving me an exposure which was probably around 3-4 stops over (numpty).
