the Fittie

When in Aberdeen in September 2015, I visited 'the Fittie'. The Fittie is a small grid system complex of cottages and a few larger houses that used to house fishermen and the harbour and pilot staff. It is located close to the harbour entrance on the seaward side. A map can be found here:

I took a series of in-camera black and white shots that capture some of the character of the place, which is now a mix of long-standing residents and a considerable number of incomers, including artists.
