Progress finally.
After building 4 supports to the mid section, I decided the top of the design wasn't stable enough and proceeded to completely redesign it from that point up. So it's taken a while and I am a few bricks short so there'll be some brick-linking to do but I'm much happier with v2, it's stronger and I also think looks better. I've also moved the foundations outwards by two studs and rebuilt them to better fit the support's lower section.
Next, I'm back on to the landing pad edging.
