Vaikunda Ekadasi is one of the auspicious and very important days for Hindus.It is dedicated to Lord Vishnu. It occurs before the Full Moon Day in the month of Margazhi(Between December&January). It is observed with Fasting.It gives one Moksha or liberation.It is believed that Lord Vishnu keeps the gate of His Abode,Vaikundam open for devotees on this day.Temples all over India make a structure called Swarga Vaasal from where the Lord blesses His devotees
