Miami Metro Zoo-08-11-2017

The Miami-Dade Zoological Park&Gardens near Miami was the largest and oldest Zoological garden in Florida.
It was established in 1948 at Crandon Park,Key Biscayne,with a small collection of 6 animals-3 monkeys+1goat+2 bear.
When the zoo(Zoo Miami as was then called)grew in size it was relocated to Richmond Naval Air Staion with an area of 750
acres in the year 1980.It is located in:south-west of Miami in the southern metropolitan Miami-Dade county.
This is the only tropical zoo in the continental United States.Now it has a collection of more than 3000 animals with
separate sections for Asia,Africa,Australia ,
