This Union Pacific westbound freight crossed the Cienega Creek Bridge in Arizona on March 26, 2012. The bridge was built by the El Paso & Southwestern RR in 1912. The tracks of the former Southern Pacific Railroad, which were completed in 1880, passed under the bridge just under the locomotives. Eastbound trains normally use the track under the bridge while westbound trains normally cross the bridge.

The El Paso and Southwestern was leased to the Southern Pacific in 1924 and formerly merged into the SP in 1955. In 1996 the Southern Pacific and Union Pacific merged.
