One Poultry (Commended LPOTY 2020)

Sorry for being a bit quiet folks, I've had some issues with my pro account and couldn't upload any photos for a while... I'm now back up and running and I have some news!!!

As some of you know I entered this year's Landscape Photographer of The Year competition for the first time. I knew I had no chance of winning as the standard is always way above my paygrade but after entering a mixture of landscape and urban architecture shots I hoped for the best.

After having three of my urban shots getting shortlisted, then having one through to final judging I was pretty shocked, then on Thursday I had an email to say I had my abstract shot from One Poultry in London commended by the judges and I've won a place in the awards book (out this week) and a place in the exhibition at London Bridge train station (so if you're near there go visit, it's on until February!)

I'm still a bit dumbfounded but chuffed to bits to get as far as I have, god knows how the winner is feeling lol!!! It's something that every landscape photographer hopes to achieve and I'm glad I've managed that on my first attempt.

You can see all the winners over at their main page here and then wonder how the hell I managed to get through cos they're all way better than mine haha!!
