The Barcode
Last night after work I ventured out with Jim Merry Photography to shoot some light trails in Plymouth city centre.
The Barcode is Plymouth's new IMAX cinema complex and I've been wanting to get this shot since they started building it.
The complex has been met with love and hate from the local population, most don't see why we need a new cinema when we have one already, but for me, it's my new home. As a film fan, it's a dream come true for me and in the first three weeks of opening I'd seen 12 films lol!
It's called the barcode after locals commented that it looked like a giant barcode during building, so the owners of the building picked up on this and officially named it. Don't let anyone tell you that Plymouth folk don't have a sense of humour.
