Desolation

A bit of abstract photography for today and another shot from Burnham on Sea.

 

After getting my photo of the lighthouse I just stood there on the beach for a while thinking how desolate it was. Stood there in the cold wind, it really wasn't a pleasant place to be and the feeling of loneliness and desolation really hit me. It was grey and miserable with not a lot going on, but I did see some nice patterns where the tide had gone out so I tried to find something I could make out of them.

 

This shot isn't going to be everyone's cup of tea but it reminds me of some kind of impressionist painting and to be honest, I think this would look nice in my bathroom lol!!
