Reflected Light

Last shot from Saturday's trip to Dorset.

You can't visit Portland Bill without getting a shot of the famous lighthouse, so here's mine.

I can't take credit for composition on this photo, one of the other photographers on the day trip discovered this little puddle that reflected the lighthouse, and we all had a go at getting the shot. I don't think any of the others have posted theirs yet so here's mine. This was the last shot of a challenging but brilliant day taken while we were walking back to the van from Pulpit Rock.

As Portland Bill's largest and most recent lighthouse, the Trinity House operated Portland Bill Lighthouse is distinctively white and red striped, standing at a height of 41 metres. It was completed by 1906 and first shone out on 11 January 1906

I hope everyone has a good Bank Holiday weekend, I have no clue where or what I'm doing yet but I'm sure you'll see a few photos next week
