Gold Hill
Our second stop on Friday's adventure in Dorset was Gold Hill in Shaftesbury. Some of you may recognise this from Ridley Scott's famous 1973 commercial for Hovis Bread where the young lad rides down the hill on his bike.
When we arrived the fields in the distance were hidden by a bank of fog, but I could see it clearing so waited a bit to get my shot.
The last time I was here I came later in the day, and I think I preferred the light on this early morning visit.
I do love this view, and if you ever get the chance to visit the cafe at the top does a wonderful bit of cake, well worth a visit.
