Red Velvet cake

This recipe is from theunlikelybaker.com for a traditional red velvet with ermine cream (instead of cream cheese icing). The ermine is actually quite smooth and tasty. I decorated using the two-tone rose motif and left the cake "half-naked" to show off the velvet color.
