30 years ago on November 14th, 1986, SNCF BB20011 seen in Den Bosch. The locomotive was hired from the SNCF/Alsthom to performe a number of test runs. The NS (Dutch State Railways) was gathering information for the new 1700 locomotive class. The first Loco of this class entered service in 1991 and at the moment only a few of the original 81 locomotives are still in service, mainly on the Amsterdam Berlin Intercity service and a number have been reactivated to run with the Dubble decker cars.
