Conceptual self portrait

For my concept I wanted to show what I do in m break time and how i get by in hard times. This image is taken in one of my favorite rooms in my house and has the best lighting for a photo. In this room I get lost in my thoughts. I spend hours there trying to come up with music and writing. Sometimes iI write my own stuff or try to incorporate things that famous artists do. I fall in love with the sound of my guitar and love to hear the switch of the amp. I get away from the world in that room and find my comfort in music. The three parts of the photo include me playing guitar, writing music, and reading a book. All showing my love for music, and how I am around it in my free time.

 

To take this photo I set up my camera and tripod in the back of the room. I set a timer and then moved to my spot in the room 3 different times. I then took the 3 images into photoshop and went to editing. I posted the images on a sized file and transformed them to fit together. I then had to make 3 layers with each photo and use one as the background. I then went to the other layers and erased everything around me and cropped out everything but me. I then organized the layers and flattened the image.
