School Age
Children need to cope with new social and academic demands.
This photo literally took ages to edit correctly because of the dimensions and the angle I photographed it at. A lot of the furniture and the lines didnt match up correctly or overlapped, which literally took me about another extra hour to fix up. Anyway, I wanted to represent simple academic and social actions that a child would have to cope with whilst growing up (eg: going for lunch, having the best phone to talk to others on)
Actually, whilst on the topic of having 'the best phone/latest phone'. I can't even sometimes. When I see a child with an iPhone 5, or even an iPhone 3G, I just want to flip out because all I see them do is play games and use Facebook and shit. When I was that age, my parents refused to buy me a phone, they even refuse to buy me a phone at this age. I was running about outside, swimming, being active (lol, everything that I dont do now). So, whenever some kid is hooked on their iPhone/iPad/Samsung, I actually can't stand it. Go and play like a normal child, or maybe the norms have changed for the newer generation and playing outside isnt normal. #deepthoughts
