Downtown
Having shot at this location in previous months but regretted I didn't use the telefoto lens, I went back to Twin Peaks last weekend telefoto-ready, as well as bringing a friend over to enjoy the views.
For this shot I didn't even have to use the maximum focal/zoom length - actually this shot was taken at 84mm focal length. But this often under-appreciated kit lens (55-250mm) did a superb job in focusing on the SF downtown area. I was really pleasantly surprised that I had the Ferry Building right smack at the center of the shot as well - lucky lucky :) As I shot this (and even while i'm typing this) that classic Petula Clark song comes playing in my mind.
Here are my other previous shots from Twin Peaks - one in the nighttime and another during sunset hour. Thank you for checking it out!
By the way, please feel free to tag the buildings (I thank you in advance) - i am only familiar with the famous/landmark ones :)
