This was taken at the Lafayette Cemetery in the Garden District, New Orleans, Louisiana.

New Orleans is below sea level so most graves are above ground. This one broken open and the swamp seeped in.

 

Lafayette Cemetery was famous by Anne Rice; first in "Interview With A Vampire", and then in "The Witching Hour".
