Doc Watson
Doc's story: Doc is a kitten I rescued. He had belonged to a very young transient couple who were living on the streets in downtown San Diego. They were doing the best they could to care for him. He was kept on a collar and leash. They had food and a litter box for him. In my conversations with the couple, I told them that I understood how difficult it was to care for themselves, let alone a kitten as well. I gave them my business card and told them that, if it ever reached the point where they felt they could no longer care for him, to call me. I was a volunteer at a no-kill shelter and I promised them that he would be placed there. A few days later, they called me. I retreived him and brought him to the shelter. He was adopted about a month later. This is Doc playing in the shelter lobby.
