Pelican Migration
American White Pelicans flying over the Mississippi River at La Crosse, Wisconsin, during their annual migration to nesting grounds in northern Wisconsin/Minnesota and southern Canada . . . after spending the winter along the Gulf of Mexico from Mexico to Florida. These were just a small number of hundreds and hundreds of pelicans which flew over La Crosse this morning during a 15-minute span.
