AL-SPSS 10X Spessar
Mk.10X is the unofficial denomination for a Spessar Class reFrame which was first encountered by a NEST patrol in the Quorus infested wastelands of Southern Europa.
Nothing is know of this unregistered, non-aligned reFrame. Only truth is that the Ruling Council of the Ascendant Lords pays the highest bounty ever registered for the "termination" of a single reFrame.
In the JBF2019 charity auction I managed to win a single Lu Sim's V3 reFrame kit ~ black edition.
After quickly analyzing the kit in the hotel, I decided that I would try to replicate Lu's amazing Spessar, which Lu brought to JBF. Serious mecha stuff!! You may found Spessar's detailed background here.
Reverse-engineering was not easy, but the result is extremely pleasing and looks truly badass. Very popular among my friends.
Keen observers will note that the reverse engineering does not 100% match the source: I made some minor changes to better suit my building tastes.
Needless to say, full credits go to Lu Sim, who is the true father of the creature. Be sure to visit his Flickr photostream and his blog for some really pro-mecha stuff!!
