The driver/fireman is just climbing up on to the unidentified black 5 , judging by the amount of steam about is looking as though it is about to move off shed, 45200 with a rather sad epitaph on its cab side waits for the call to duty. 9D Newton Heath closed to steam on the 29th June 1968.
