Television image of the two towers of the World Trade Center as it collapses, September 11, 2001. Both towers were hit earlier by hijacked airliners and both towers collapsed to the ground. An aircraft was also crashed into the Pentagon near Washington this morning and another airliner crashed near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania in an apparently related move.
