This artwork evokes phenomena characterized by phases of expansion and contraction.
On both sides of a small yellow and black square, two surfaces - covered by the words "expansion" and "contraction" - stretch far beyond the limits of this artwork. On these words "expansion" and "contraction", colored arcs of circle suggest a gradual cooling: 1) on the left, from yellow to orange and to red, 2) on the right, from light blue to dark blue and to black.
