Moonset and stardust

Pic taken the 19th of sept 2015, 2300m alt (close to the summit of Piton de la Fournaise, Reunion Island). The volcanic eruption was clearly the main draw here but looking the other way was just as rewarding ; the isolation of the island, lost in the middle of southern Indian ocean, combined to the thin air almost guarantees night skies of an exceptionnal clarity.
