The Ghost of Someone Not Yet Drowned

An installation of image, text, sound and choreography in the empty Victorian swimming pools of The Victoria Baths, Manchester.

The installation consisted of a dance work in the main pool and the Ladies's pool with a solo dance artist in each, choreographed from the performance text; sound created from the performance text and found sounds recorded at the baths; an exhibition in the changing cabins examining the poetry of the space and the absence of the water; and the creative critical methodology of Practice as Research.
