Red breasted merganser (Drake in alt plumage)

Love watching these guys hunt, they are so quick. They hunt like loons on the top of the water looking down unlike most divers and cormorants who dive and look while they are underwater. These ducks are rocket fuel ducks, like atomic submarines.
