Pieces of Cinema 17. Pirates of the Caribbean The Curse of the Black Pearl (2003)
PotC is, frankly, a dead franchise. But, believe it or not, there was a time when it was really awesome. CotBP is easily the best one, and is simply amazing. Jack Sparrow is such a memorable character, and that’s all thanks to Jonny Depp’s stellar performance. He absolutely deserved his Oscar for that role.
My favorite PotC scene is Sparrow’s introduction, so a recreated it here. Hope y’all like it!
