Form Follows Function

A comparison between the Perot Museum in Dallas, and the Museum of Natural History in New York can be used to demonstrate the Form Follows Function principle. The Perot Museum uses an unconventional design and post modern architecture to stand out, while the Museum of Natural History tends towards an older and more time tested architecture. Both function as perfectly feasible Natural History Museums, but New York's design is more practical and does not focus on being aesthetically pleasing.
