Hunter Freeman: Collectors

I thought of Dr. Lenz for Freeman's Collections because of how familiar and obscure his flamingo collection is to Chatham. I decided to use all natural light, which is why he's next to the window. I don't care for everything that is NOT a flamingo, but I think it still works. I wish that the quality of the image was bit less grainy.
I chose to emulate Hunter Freeman's work in his series titled Collectors. Dr. William Lenz is captured here with his collection of flamingos. Dr. Lenz requested that none of his flamingos be rearranged/moved in his office. His restriction put me in a tight spot, quite literally. There were so many flamingos all over the place in his office, I didn't know which part of the room to focus on. I hated the thought of not getting all of them in the frame. While Dr. Lenz read his email, I scanned the room for the perfect shot! 8 awkward positions later, I found it! While I was snapping away, I realized that the Las Vegas sign made a halo above his head. I told him. He replied, "THEY LIGHT UP TOO!" I said, "I would love it if you turned them on!" and he said, "My pleasure."
Whoot whoot!!
