Dominions of Louisiana, Native American Indian and Spain

This series depicts the nations that have reigned over Louisiana. These two represent the Indians and Spain. Spain holds a Ship atop the Cablido, the building in which the Louisiana Purchase was signed.

 

A Beehive adorns the spandrel or space between the columns. It represents industry or productivity.
