Sunset Spectacular!(Sunset Wednesday)

Plans for a Lake Sunset didn't happen due to Road closure so driving as fast as my sports car Van can Careen around winding corners to get back out of there in hopes of Getting somewhere to witness this spectacular sunset that literally had me "tearing" up as I watched the transformation! We stopped by an Orchid & got some shots of the Hood ..not much happening there, but behind us by the wretched ugly powerlines..The magic was happening & I said..I'm shooting these power lines & all..I'm not missing it..but as the sky continued to get even better..I'm like..Lets throw these cams & tripods in the car just as they are in HOPES of getting "Somewhere" better than this..We came upon this little meadow & BINGO!!! amazing!!

 

I can say I am proud of my First Real Sunset! That has RIO colors! :-D

 

I can just imagine what this must have looked like along the Gorge with the colors reflected in the water! I can't wait to see some of you that have captured it there!..
