Yes, it's a fox kit! I stumbled upon the den yesterday, in a boulder-piled embankment not five minutes' walk from my campus apartment. The kits were out when I returned with my camera this morning. I only got off two shots before the kits saw me and retreated into the den, but two is enough when one looks like this!
