Hidden dangers

With its round, pale body and reddish markings, this flower crab spider is almost invisible against the chokecherry buds/flowers it's sitting on. In fact, what drew my eye was the fly it was eating; had it not been for that, I never would have seen the spider at all! It got spooked and dropped the fly before I could start shooting, but I'm happy with this pose.
