The open water adventure

September Bivvy saw me take to the water and kayak down the Carrick roads seeking a place to moor up and camp out.
A pretty hellish start where i still don't know how i manage to not tip out into the sea as i was faced with pretty choppy waters but somehow i survived and stayed dry to enjoy a great weekend marooned on a beach. My return trip to home i was paddling on a still, calm and beautiful sea in stark contrast to the previous days horror.
All in all it made up for a pretty awesome microadventure.
