Ein beliebtes Motiv an der KBS 855 ist der Blick auf die Altstadt von Nabburg. Zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt präsentierte sich die Stelle schön frei geschnitten. Bei der Umsetzung gibt es zahlreiche Möglichkeiten. Für mich lag der Schwerpunkt aber auf den Bauwerken - wo kann man schon eine alte Stadtmauer ins Bild integrieren? Am linken Bildrand kann man den sogenannten Dechantturm erkennen, in der Bildmitte die Stadtpfarrkirche St. Johannes Baptist, im gotischen Baustil errichtet. Eine kleine Herausforderung ist jedoch die Situation an der im Bildvordergrund befindlichen Schreinerei. Hier sind oft Fahrzeuge recht unpassend geparkt. Am 08. März 2025 war dem jedoch nicht so und die gepflegte 218 430 vor dem RE 4859 von Hof nach München HBF konnte wunschgemäß fotografiert werden.
A popular motif on the track from Hof to Regensburg is the view of the old town centre of Nabburg. At the time the photo was taken, the area was beautifully clear-cut. There are numerous possibilities for the realisation. For me, however, the focus was on the buildings - where else can you integrate an old town wall into the picture? On the left-hand side of the image you can see the so-called Dechant Tower, in the centre the parish church of St. Johannes Baptist, built in the Gothic style. However, the situation at the carpenter's workshop in the foreground is a bit of a challenge. Vehicles are often parked inappropriately here. On 8 March 2025, however, this was not the case and the well-maintained 218 430 in front of the RE 4859 from Hof to Munich main station could be photographed as desired.
