Die 111 163 verstärkt seit Ende 2019 den Bestand der Baureihe beim BW München 1. Davor war sie lange in Baden-Württemberg rund um Stuttgart aktiv. Am 04. Mai 2024 konnte ich die Lok vor dem RE 59157 von Treuchtlingen nach München HBF bei Vierkirchen fotografieren. Bemerkenswert ist auch die Wagengarnitur von DB Gebrauchtzug mit ihrem hohen 1. Klasse Anteil. Zudem verkehrte der Zug "gedreht", üblicherweise steht die Lok Richtung Ingolstadt. Zum Aufnahmezeitpunkt war der Lavendel am Bahndamm in voller Blüte.
